IFAW's Party for a Porpoise

IFAW's signature fundraising event, Party for a Porpoise, benefits the work our incredible team is doing throughout Cape Cod - and beyond! - to provide rapid response and humane care to stranded marine mammals. The event also supports education and advocacy campaigns to help protect the threatened North Atlantic right whale, of which less than 400 remain.

This year's in-person gathering will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the stunning Wianno Club in Osterville, MA. Our celebratory evening will include cocktails and canapés overlooking the Nantucket Sound, a sustainable and locally sourced seated dinner, a live auction offering unique experiences, fund-a-need appeal, and special presentations, including the Ocean Champion Award shared with cartoonist and creator of Sherman's Lagoon, Jim Toomey.
